Asian (Halal included) and have an impeccable reputation with both communities. Asian Wedding Receptions at the Heritage Hotel
Specialising in Asian Wedding Receptions, we host 45 on average per year and have an impeccable reputation within the Asian Community.
The Heritage Hotel has two main function room, which are ideal for Wedding Receptions. The Derwent Suit, which is the larger of the two, can cater for up to 400 guests and the Edale Suite, up to 200 guests. Of course, should your numbers be above the maximum capacity of the Derwent Suite, the Edale can be opened up to combine both room, to then give you a 600 maximum capacity.
Dealing with many local companies on a regular basis and have compiled a list of suppliers who have been used by many of our clients and excel within the wedding field. Caterers, florists, balloon decorators etc, and we feel that we can accommodate any request to make your wedding that special day to remember.
Viewing the facilities on offer to you at the Heritage Hotel is a must, if you would like to do so then please telephone to make an appointment. You will be given a full show round of all the function rooms, bedrooms, kitchen facilities and you will be able to discuss any fine details or ask any questions up might like to ask.

Room Hire Rates include: Free of Charge Corkage on all spirits, Wines and Soft Drinks.
Beer MUST be from our bar at the displayed rates.
Service of Hotel
In hiring out the function room(s), the Hotel, will set-up the room(s) with tables(covered in white linen cloths) and ten chairs per table to a maximum capacity of 600(unless numbers are below this, as advised by the client). On the day of the function there will be a Duty Manager available to assist you.
Napkins & Slip Cloths
The client is responsible for providing their own napkins and slip cloths
Crockery, Cutlery & Glasses
The Hotel will provide crockery, cutlery & glass for the clients use at the displayed rate (as available) This consists of a full place setting per person.
It is the clients' responsibility to serve & clear and to ensure that the kitchen and function room(s) are left in a clean & tidy order.
Bar
Bar staff are provided for the service of drinks at the bar and do not serve to the tables.
All beer MUST be purchased from the Hotel.
Own Wines & Spirits/Inventory
The client must provide an inventory of spirits, Wines and Soft Drinks brought onto the Hotel premises. On the day of the function, it is required that a "Spokesperson" is introduced to the Duty Manager whom they may liaise with in the event of any inquiries pertaining to the function.
Waiting Staff
Staff can be booked via the Hotel on behalf of the Client but must be paid for by the client. It is estimated that 1 member of staff per 30 guests will be required.
This is of course dependant upon the clients' individual requirements and to be used as a guide only.
Staff booked will be required for the laying of tables, service of food, clearing and pot washing duties. They will commence and conclude their duty at a time agreed upon by the Hotel and the Client.
Staff booked must be paid for prior to the function taking place. If the staffs agreed working hours over-run, due to the function running late, the Client must also pay for all extra time worked on the day of the function.
Decor
The client is responsible for proving their own decor. Access to the function room for decor purposes is by arrangement only. The Hotel can provide you with a list of florists and Balloon Decorators.
Entertainment
The Client is responsible for providing their own entertainment. Access to the function room for set-up purposes is by arrangement only.
